Vehicle & Shipment Data

For auto transport requests, we collect Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) and decode them via the NHTSA public database to retrieve vehicle year, make, model, and type. For freight, we collect pallet counts, dimensions, and weight.

Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you interact with our platform, including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This data is used to improve performance and security.

Location Data

We use Google Maps APIs for address autocomplete and validation. Google may collect anonymized usage data in accordance with their privacy policy.

We use the information we collect to:

• Process and fulfill your quote requests and transport orders • Communicate with you about your shipments, account, and customer support inquiries • Verify vehicle information through NHTSA's public VIN decoder • Validate and autocomplete addresses using Google Maps • Improve our platform, services, and user experience • Comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud • Send operational emails (order confirmations, status updates, delivery notifications)

Service Providers

Third-party services that help us operate our platform, including Supabase (authentication and database hosting), Vercel (application hosting), Google Maps (address validation), and NHTSA (vehicle data).

Carriers & Partners

When you request a transport quote, we share necessary shipment details (pickup/delivery locations, vehicle or freight information) with carriers in our network to obtain pricing and fulfill orders.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Doorfox, our users, or the public.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:

• TLS/SSL encryption for all data in transit • Row-Level Security (RLS) policies in our database to ensure users only access their own data • Secure authentication via Supabase Auth with bcrypt-hashed passwords • Role-based access controls separating customer, agent, and admin permissions • Secure file storage with access policies for uploaded documents

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Quote request data and associated documents are retained for a minimum of 3 years for business and legal compliance purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you • Request correction of inaccurate data • Request deletion of your data • Object to or restrict processing of your data • Request a portable copy of your data • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent

We use essential cookies to maintain your authentication session and preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or trackers. Analytics, if enabled, use anonymized, aggregated data only.

Our platform integrates with the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Supabase — Authentication, database, and file storage (supabase.com/privacy) • Google Maps Platform — Address autocomplete and geocoding (policies.google.com/privacy) • NHTSA vPIC API — Vehicle identification number decoding (public government API, no personal data transmitted) • Vercel — Application hosting and deployment (vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy)

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
